Hailing from the Northern Beaches of Sydney in NSW, erratic have been playing to the 24Hour Party People for the past 18 months. From hip house parties to club and venues, they have carved out a solid reputation, which has been confirmed by the Sydney Morning Herald with their critics pick as 'the best fun live dance band in Sydney''.

Self recording and releasing their debut CD titled 'OSCILATE', it brought them to the attention of Sydney's longest serving Indie label Phantom Records, and it's with them that they are now releasing their next offering; the EP 'Escalar'. This 4 track EP which is Spanish for 'climb' features guest vocalist Katy Mac on the title track as well as 3 pumping up-tempo tracks in which erratic are melding summer grooves and hard funk in full instrumented organic style.

Recorded in the inner city of Sydney in the recent October downpour, the band dealt with everything from blackouts, electrical storms & floods and emerged carrying a hard drive through knee deep water containing the files that where to become the 'Escalar' EP.

The release of Escalar welcomes a return to live performance and this is where the band remains most potent. The November shows are listed below with the summer dates shaping up and will be announced soon. Although erratic were happy with their debut release, with Escalar they feel they are have made the quantum leap in capturing their live sound on a recording for the first time.
