Good Buddha
Good Buddha 101 (or the skinny on how to be fat)

1998- It's Sydney and live music is a rolling beast of style melding into style- and in the midst is Good Buddha. Continually burning up the dance floors with a complex mix of psychedelia, roots and the natural progression of hip hop, they create a unique sound and gained a loyal following of people who expect the unexpected. for 3 years they honed skills and flexed their imaginations until the release of their formidable 1st album, 'Skillathon'.

Critically acclaimed with 3 hi-rotation singles on national radio, and the 'Ultrasound' clip played all over the shop, it was a launching pad for the band and a yardstick for original music in Australia. Closely on Skillathon's heels came the 'Harry Told Me' ep, the 'Naturalogical' Remix ep, and the now classic collab. with the Resin Dogs on 'Take Off', again hitting hi-rotation on both radio and TV in 2003.

Cut to 2004- Futurhistrix!! Through some intense studio sessions and a ridiculous touring schedule involving numerous national tours, appearances on festivals from the Big Day out to Splendour in the Grass, Woodford to Advenjah, plus headline, club and Uni gigs, comes Good Buddha's greatest album, tightest band and freshest outlook-

With Glenn Humphries on samples/keys, Mark Walton on decks 'n' effecks, Xela MC/ Al "guitar" Young, M dat Dosh on drums and Andy A.N.D. Lane on bass and mic, PLUS the pure vocal pepper of Ranji- the future of oz hiphop/soul is history!
