[Oct 2006] Ddurbeyfield is a five piece, independent band. The band, consisting of high school friends (including two brothers), has established itself as an exciting Melbourne act. Their first EP (October 2004) was described as "A dazzling EP from a band that are deserving of a giant hug and a heck of a lot of attention" (TIMEOFF, QLD) and… "an EP of romantic maturity… beautifully crafted." (TSUNAMI MAG, QLD)

Although there has been some time between EPs, Across the Hollow (October 2006) has been worth the wait.

"It’s been two years since Durbeyfield’s eponymous debut EP... Across the Hollow, as expected, is another release full of poise and elegance. It’s the Durbeyfield way." BEAT (VIC)

"Expect great, great things from these guys. Not that they ‘re not great already, but, they’re going to get greater. It’s a bit scary, actually." BEAT (VIC)

"Across the Hollow opens with a brilliant track titled What I’m in for... Pale Dora closes the EP and is a stand out as Durbeyfield bring us something that is sure to get the emotions flowing." THE BORDER MAIL Sept '06 (NSW)
