B Movies Heroes
As a seven piece band that plays more like a rock orchestra, B-Movie Heroes invite you to slide out of the time-tunnel and straight into the driving seat, to encounter for yourself the intricate array of powerhouse percussion under the bonnet, rolling through the streets on vintage synths like a well-oiled machine, that hums with low warmth and beautifully detailed melody…

Having featured on an impressive number of high profile bills such as Apollo Bay Music Festival Victoria 2005, Perth’s International Arts Festival, The Big Day Out, Kiss My WAMI Festival, In The Pines Festival, YAC It Up Youth Festival, the Botanic Blues, Roots & Soul Festival supporting the Godfather of Soul himself, James Brown and the West Coast Blues & Roots Festival 2005 in Fremantle W.A. The B-Movie Heroes consistently prove to be mainstays of the festival circuit.

The band’s live performances have also been officially recognised through the West Australian Music Industry Association awarding them Most Popular Folk and Roots Act 2001, Most Popular Acoustic Act 2001 and the Most Popular World Act 2003 & 2005. Also being added to the WAMI compilation CD not only in 2001 [track “Softcore” recorded live], but also 2004 [track “Softcore” studio recording] and 2005 [track “High”].

Also being added to the AIR “Blues & Roots” compilation #44 with the track “What It Is”. Satellite Music Australia have also taken most of the tracks from the Album “Sibling Revelry” and added them to their huge repertoire of hits for 24/7 listening.
