The Basics

If, by chance, you managed to miss The Beatles playing at The Cavern Club in Liverpool back in 61, then maybe The Basics will allow you to imagine what it would have been like, [Marcus Williams, Inpress Magazine]

This may seem like quite a claim, but Wally de Backer, Kris Schroeder and Tim Heath do well in proving The Basics as the finest Rhythm and Blues combo to emerge in the last 40 years. Picking up from where The Beatles left off in 1970, raw energy combined with the most original three-part harmony work since The Fabs has won over audiences from Melbourne to Sydney, Tamworth to Brisbane, and even Albany to Port Hedland on Australia's west coast. Their debut album 'Get Back' and follow-up single 'Call It Rhythm and Blues', both released through MGM Distribution in 2004, drew comment from radio and press personalities all over the country, doing nothing less than dividing the media community on the lads merits. One thing was unanimous however - they are the best at what they do, and it was only a matter of time before the public grew hungry for the sounds of The Basics.

So if you too have a craving for some good-time rock"n'roll, or a hankerin" for a beat to fill your dancing shoes, turn The Basics right up to 11 and let it all hang loose.
