Hailing from the hills of Jeeralang, Gippsland, Mel Wilkinson is folk-roots songwriter/multi-instrumentalist from Melbourne who draws on her love of nature, art, life, light and shade, inspiring colourful harmonies, floating melodies, earthy beats and a unique timbre. Influenced by artists ranging from Nick Drake, Bob Dylan & Melanie Safka to more modern day influences Jeff Lang, John Butler & Jack Johnson, her music is inspired by a range of sounds and styles, which is reflected in her writing.
