"Disco punk, dance punk, punk, rock n' roll, garage…. whatever you wanna call it, this rules". Zan Rowe's 'Catch Of The Day '- Triple J

Following the release of singles 'Collusion' and 'Howlin' Belle' Melbourne three-piece, The Peep Tempel, unleash their hotly anticipated self-titled debut album.

A satire on the trials and tribulations of lower socio-economic living, The Peep Tempel is a suitably unhinged and tension-wracked tome - there really is very little romance beneath the poverty lines. Heavy, unrelenting and steeped in harsh realities, the album simmers with agitated riffs, splintered melodies and cutting lyrics with the whole continually threaten to boil over. In early 2011 The Peep Tempel added bass player Matt Chow (of Graveyard Train) who had recorded the band's first two 7 inches and headed into Sing Sing Studios to record their debut LP with Clinton Kraus. The album was mixed by Casey Rice (Tortoise and The Dirty Three) and mastered by Joseph Cara at Crystal Mastering.
