Half Miler are an Australian guitar band once described by BBC1 radio DJ Steve Lamaq as "the best thing to come out of Australia since Rolf Harris". Half Miler at the time were based in London. They have since returned the recorded their second album, with Wayne Connolly (Knievel, Welcome Mat) producing and TomMorgan (Smudge) on second guitar. Drawing a distinctive influence from the great tradition of Sydney guitar bands, Half Miler's album fizzes with fine noisy pop.
