Their new HANDSHAKE EP - recorded by Paul “Woody” Annison atRed Door Sounds Melbourne – has received love from community radio around Australia for the singles ‘Karma Karma’ and ‘No Logo Is A Joke’.  triple j added‘No Logo Is A Joke’ to rotation and Acting Music Director Nick Findlay has labeled the single “loud and fun, angry and crunchy… very tasty.”
 
SUPER BEST FRIENDS officially launched HANDSHAKE with a 14-date headline tour of Queensland, New South Wales, ACT, Victoria and South Australia this year (including supports with Cairo Knife Fight (NZ) and Hunting Grounds.) They capped off the tour to a big hometown crowd at Groovin The Moo Canberraand joined Perth’s Emperors on the NSW leg of their recent album tour. SBF’s previous support credits include The BeardsYoung RevelryChildren Collide,Violent Soho and 90s heroes Regurgitator.
 
HANDSHAKE follows 2009’s READY AIM FIRE! which scored SUPER BEST FRIENDS a spot on the American Punk Kills compilation, US college radio play and consistent spins on triple j’s SHORT.FAST.LOUDThe title track won the University of Canberra’s Catapult Comp to play Stonefest 2009, putting SBF on the same bill as Frenzal RhombThe Living EndArt VS ScienceUrthboyBirds Of Tokyo and British India.
